We have an incredible and affordable gem right in our back yard. A year ago, a venue opened in Hardwick that brings in quality acts. The new Abby Theater is a beautiful and comfortable place to enjoy the shows. In the past year, my wife, Lynn, and I have seen a couple of Jazz combos, a play by the Gilbert Players, Tom Rush, and a magic act. While we had not heard of all of these groups, the quality was outstanding and we were never disappointed. This year’s schedule is out and it looks very entertaining. Here are just a few of the acts: Livingston Taylor, Grace Kelly Quartet, Beauty and the Beast, Cirque LeMasque, Brooks Williams, and four Bach concerts.
This place is The Cultural Center at Eagle Hill right on route 32 in Hardwick. If you have interest you can get more info online at: thecenterateaglehill.org or call them at 413-477-6746.
